About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate, define, and manage forecasted project costs
  • Monitor sourcing and tool kick-off progress
  • Interface with Marketing to ensure strategic and contractual alignment with Purchasing
  • Represent Purchasing in Project Execution Team meetings
  • Interface with Chief Engineers, Executive Directors, and Program Leads
  • Coordinate Engineer and Purchasing interaction for Engineering Project reviews
  • Support Project Team meeting requests
  • Coordinate project costs including logistics, containerization, and other supply chain costs
  • Communicate and coordinate project change requests and decisions to Purchasing
  • Report program financials to Purchasing executive leadership
  • Coordinate interaction with global areas
  • Monitor and track parts not on contract
  • Support Supplier Launch Readiness Review

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related careers
  • 3+ years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience in Purchasing, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Engineering with similar experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • Availability to work in Sao Caetano do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime, 3 times per week in person
  • Spanish knowledge preferred
  • PowerBI knowledge preferred
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
