About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with Program Management and System Architects to refine program vision, own the team roadmap, and maintain and prioritize the team backlog
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Scrum Team content
  • Coordinate dependencies with other Scrum managers
  • Assess team capacity and translate product feature strategy into user stories
  • Assist with story definition, estimation, and sequencing for Program Increment Planning
  • Clarify requirements and align Scrum Teams around feature or product strategy
  • Define acceptance criteria supporting Behavior Driven Development and Test-Driven Development
  • Guide system demonstration strategy and unit, integration, and system-level testing
  • Verify stories are testable and generate testing objectives
  • Ensure feature validation and testing before End User Acceptance
  • Maintain technical product integrity and address anomalies and quality concerns
  • Accept stories and participate in team demonstrations and retrospectives
  • Validate acceptance criteria, persistent acceptance tests, and Definition of Done compliance
  • Participate in Program Increment Planning, Iteration Retrospectives, ART Inspection and Adapt sessions, and SM/ART Synchronizations
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Scrum Team members

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Lead Hybrid Calibration Engineer, Hybrid Powertrain Calibration Engineer, or related occupation
  • Five (5) years of experience in algorithm development and calibration for propulsion system controls
  • Five (5) years of experience in embedded controls and controls software development
  • Five (5) years of experience with MATLAB and Simulink, DOORS, and GIT environments
  • Five (5) years of experience with Embedded Controls Development and Delivery Process
  • Three (3) years of experience with plant modeling and analysis tools
  • Three (3) years of experience in electrification software and diagnostics development
  • Three (3) years of experience with system modeling and simulation, including Software, Hardware, and MIL/SIL/HIL testing
  • Three (3) years of experience with controls software development in C programming
  • Three (3) years of experience with vehicle propulsion, chassis control, battery high voltage, vehicle energy transfer, charging, and automotive systems
  • Must be able to report to the local office
