About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the analysis, structuring, validation, and governance of information on parts, applications, vehicles, attributes, dimensions, weight, images, and catalog data
  • Assess complex relationships between parts and vehicles, considering model, year, engine, trim level, position, market, country, and other application characteristics
  • Create, review, maintain, and continuously improve application and compatibility data
  • Lead the development and review of catalog information for the GM Genuine and ACDelco portfolios
  • Lead cross-reference initiatives between ACDelco, GM Genuine, and other brands
  • Support and coordinate the introduction of new product lines and the expansion of existing applications
  • Design and enhance analyses, controls, dashboards, and automations using spreadsheets, Power BI, SQL, Python, KNIME, Databricks, Access, or equivalent tools
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies among Engineering data, supplier information, catalogs, systems, marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and regional channels
  • Establish quality checks, standardization rules, documentation, and control mechanisms
  • Evaluate internal requests related to attributes, dimensions, weight, categories, images, and country-specific applications
  • Serve as a technical reference for Engineering, ACDelco, e-commerce, regional teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate activities across teams and countries, aligning technical requirements, business priorities, and customer experience needs
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual activities, improve governance, and increase the scalability of catalog operations
  • Share knowledge, review analyses, and guide less experienced professionals
  • Prepare recommendations and decision-support materials for stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong experience in the analysis, structuring, validation, and governance of product, process, or catalog data
  • Strong practical knowledge of automobiles, automotive parts, and vehicle applications
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and analyzing technical product information
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with tools such as Power BI, KNIME, Databricks, Access, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience with data standardization, process documentation, quality controls, and continuous improvement
  • Experience identifying inconsistencies and developing automation or manual-work reduction solutions
  • Ability to analyze part numbers, technical attributes, cross-references, and correlations between parts and vehicles
  • Advanced English proficiency for meetings, technical discussions, preparation of materials, and interaction with international teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, autonomy, and the ability to work across different functions and countries
  • Spanish proficiency (preferred)
  • Experience with automotive catalogs, GM Genuine, ACDelco, Chevrolet, or products from other automakers (preferred)
  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, digital catalogs, product integration, or listing publication (preferred)
  • Experience with dealership catalogs and preparing data for sales channels (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cross-referencing, equivalency, replacement, and parts coverage (preferred)
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages and automation tools (preferred)
  • Experience in product data governance, quality, standardization, or management (preferred)
  • Experience in automotive or industrial companies, systems integrators, suppliers, or technology companies (preferred)
  • Knowledge of processes for improving customer experience across digital channels (preferred)
