Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and implement thermal management control and diagnostic algorithms for GM's next generation of EV vehicles
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to interpret functional requirements and implement control and diagnostic strategies
  • Create or modify unit test cases and multicomponent test cases for thorough software testing
  • Explore and understand new thermal systems and requirements to enable controls and software development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation
  • OR Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation
  • Three (3) years of experience writing and debugging C/C++ and MATLAB Simulink
  • Three (3) years of experience developing embedded software architecture
  • Three (3) years of experience with software configuration management processes and tools Git and GitHub
  • Three (3) years of experience developing on SIL/HIL and other virtual environments
  • Must be able to report to the local office
  • Up to 10% domestic and international travel required
