About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor, analyze, and forecast program financial performance for current and future programs
  • Maintain accurate Estimates at Complete (EACs), including revenue, cost, and resource expectations
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and analysts to translate financial data into insights and recommendations
  • Prepare and maintain EACs, rolling forecasts, P&L, cash flow, and production planning
  • Align cost and schedule forecasts with contractual scope and schedule
  • Develop and manage program baselines and plans, incorporating contractual changes and ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements
  • Monitor performance through variance analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation planning
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ad-hoc analyses for program teams and GMD consolidated leadership
  • Provide insights supporting investment, budgeting, and financial strategy decisions
  • Use SAP (PEG), Dassian, and other internal business tools for financial analysis
  • Automate standard processes and ensure they operate effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with financial reporting/accounting concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within Finance/Controllership and with operating partners
  • Defense or Government contracting experience
  • Hyperion and SAP experience preferred
  • AI and data analysis experience preferred
  • Knowledge of finance principles, including income statement and cash flow statement analysis
  • Knowledge of EVMS preferred
  • Financial modeling and valuation skills preferred
  • Must report to Global HQ in Warren, Michigan at least three times per week
  • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must complete role-related assessments and/or pre-employment screening where applicable
