About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Enterprise Efficiency Specialist Program Management team
- Provide cross-functional leadership across EES initiatives such as Batch Build, FASSt, Supplier Requirements, and Plant Site Efficiency Improvements
- Direct the program management team toward enterprise efficiencies and results
- Lead standardized work for Batch Build process development, execution, and application
- Scope and plan project implementation for FASSt
- Anticipate risks throughout development and execution
- Identify additional cost savings and process improvements
- Build and maintain operational work plans
- Establish collaboration, alignment, and clarity in ambiguous and changing environments
- Identify future risks, challenges, and potential enterprise savings opportunities
- Work cross-functionally across vehicle development and supporting business functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of overall experience in automotive program management, engineering, or other cross-functional program execution roles
- 5+ years in a program management, engineering, or VSSM leadership role
- Expertise in all phases of the global vehicle development process
- Experience leading direct or indirect cross-functional teams
- Experience bringing a product through launch
- Bachelor’s degree
- Domestic travel up to 10% to support projects
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle assembly batch building strategies, including planning, logistics, and best practices preferred
- Experience in supply chain planning and/or order fulfillment preferred
- Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future
