About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, and WebSocket solutions using Spring Boot
Ensure security, scalability, and business alignment of solutions
Deploy and manage microservices on Azure
Leverage AKS, API Management, Functions, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, and monitoring tools
Optimize cloud resources for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Implement advanced monitoring using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Azure
Monitor and optimize APIs, database queries, and WebSocket traffic for high performance and resiliency
Use Test-Driven Development to deliver high-quality, maintainable code
Develop strong unit, integration, and functional testing coverage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study
Five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Java Developer, or related occupation
Three (3) years of experience with software development using Java and Spring Boot for microservices
Three (3) years of experience developing RESTful APIs
Three (3) years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), including JUnit and Mockito
Familiarity with 12-factor microservice development patterns
Experience with CI/CD tools within the Azure ecosystem
Experience with Git and Bitbucket
Experience with SQL
Must be able to report to the local office under the hybrid work policy
