About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement design elements in conformance with established Oracle SOA standards
Analyze business processes and recommend architecture for Oracle SOA implementation
Estimate effort required to implement Oracle SOA solutions
Design and prototype interfaces
Recommend Oracle SOA monitoring best practices and train team members
Resolve Oracle SOA Suite 12c issues and provide Oracle SOA stability and testing
Coordinate development and testing efforts between development teams
Participate in system testing and deployment processes
Interact with IT management regarding work assignments and status
Assist with production support and troubleshooting
Automate and optimize processes
Interpret and implement business requirements according to department standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field of study
Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related role
Five (5) years of experience with architecture, design, development, and unit testing of web-based applications and middleware infrastructure
Experience supporting and managing day-to-day operational support for Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure and Oracle SOA Suite
Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, implementation, integration, and testing
Oracle Fusion Middleware administration, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades
Experience with large, complex integration projects using Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle SOA Suite 12c, BPEL, Mediator, Oracle WebLogic Server, HTTP, SOAP, and REST web services
Experience creating user roles and authentication and authorization mechanisms within Oracle SOA
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware monitoring best practices and training team members
Experience automating and optimizing processes for applications deployed on SOA Suite
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware security patches, security compliance reports, and renewing and maintaining SSL certificates
Experience with application server performance tuning and monitoring
Experience coordinating development and testing efforts between different development teams
Experience estimating Oracle SOA solution implementation efforts, designing and prototyping interfaces, and interpreting and implementing business requirements according to established department standards
