About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and generate technical solutions, including requirements specification, functional decomposition, development, and testing
  • Perform complex design analysis
  • Specify and balance system requirements
  • Support software community best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and static code analysis rules
  • Implement software in C, C++, and Java
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for at least one platform or application component
  • Analyze software defects, determine root causes, and propose or implement fixes
  • Enhance existing software capabilities
  • Diagnose, debug, and solve vehicle hardware and software issues
  • Collaborate with teams across multiple groups to meet project milestones
  • Develop embedded AUTOSAR software using C and configure the Vector AUTOSAR stack
  • Support platform integration for CAN communication, ECU power moding, and HMI applications
  • Develop QNX/Linux/Android software for SoC diagnostics using C++/Java

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of embedded software development
  • 3+ years of programming in C/C++/Java
  • Familiarity with scripting languages including Python
  • Experience working in AUTOSAR software development
  • Experience working in Linux and Android
  • Hands-on vehicle-level debugging, including CAN/Ethernet and diagnostics
  • Experience with Vector DaVinci tools preferred
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
