About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the roadmap for performance tooling, frameworks, and methodologies supporting efficient and scalable AV software development
- Evaluate and prototype new tools, techniques, and technologies to improve runtime performance and developer workflows
- Design, implement, and maintain tools and automated systems for performance analysis, debugging, and continuous monitoring
- Analyze software behavior and identify performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with product teams to propose and implement optimizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and four (4) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation, OR Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation
- Two (2) years of experience with computer architecture and system-level software fundamentals
- Two (2) years of experience with performance profiling, analysis, tuning, and optimization
- Two (2) years of experience developing and optimizing high-performance software for heterogeneous compute environments including GPUs, DSPs, and accelerators
- Two (2) years of experience with C++ and Python
