About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with business technology and designers to build new platform capabilities and improve existing capabilities
- Customize, develop, and support solutions on the Force.com platform
- Drive Salesforce enhancements and improvements
- Build integrations between Salesforce and internal systems to automate business processes
- Develop Apex, JavaScript Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, and Flex Cards
- Verify solutions by writing and executing automated test classes
- Collaborate with, mentor, and guide other engineers
- Document and analyze processes and procedures
- Maintain proper code documentation
- Create and maintain a code repository to support seamless deployment
- Stay current with Salesforce trends and releases
- Solve business problems from inception through implementation without explicit direction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Salesforce Developer, Safety and Crash Analyst, or related occupation
- OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus three years of experience as a Software Engineer, Salesforce Developer, Safety and Crash Analyst, or related occupation
- Two years of experience programming and configuring Force.com Apex, including classes and triggers, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, Flex Cards, JavaScript (ES6), and ReactJS
- Two years of experience in software development
- Two years of experience designing and developing large-scale technology solutions with insights into Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Two years of experience with Salesforce SOQL, SOSL security model, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, and Force.com product offerings
- Two years of experience designing Salesforce Lightning UI and user-based security models
- One year of experience with object-oriented design patterns
- One year of experience with database concepts and data modeling design
- One year of experience with modeling and application design architecture
- One year of experience identifying platform risk issues and dependencies
- Must be able to report to the local office
