About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive Zone Sales and Aftersales performance objectives
- Promote Local Market Association alignment through dealer and agency partnerships
- Lead communications supporting brand priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Build and develop DSM teams through interviews, coaching, and timely performance feedback
- Analyze Zone performance, market conditions, competitive activity, and dealer trends
- Develop data-informed strategies to improve sales, market share, dealer profitability, customer satisfaction, and dealer effectiveness
- Champion business development culture driving sales and aftersales opportunities
- Promote dealer engagement and execution in Tier 3 digital marketing initiatives
- Lead District Manager teams in optimizing inventory performance and turn rates
- Partner with the Accessory Distributor and Installer to advance accessory integration strategies
- Assist with Zone customer retention and conquest strategies
- Hold dealers accountable through business planning and action plans
- Oversee the Zone dealer network and facility image program compliance
- Champion Zone training performance and Sales excellence
- Promote a customer-centric culture
- Administer dealer contractual agreements and ensure compliance with performance standards
- Ensure adoption and utilization of dealership empowerment tools and resources
- Travel frequently to dealerships within the assigned territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
- 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing a team highly preferred
- Strong automotive industry knowledge and business acumen, including sales, aftersales, service operations, and customer experience management
- Proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization; Google Workspace preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Must legally operate a motor vehicle according to licensing requirements in states where work is performed
- Must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review
- Must currently reside within the assigned territory or be willing to relocate to Danbury, CT, Northern New Jersey, or a surrounding leadership-approved area within 60 days of the start date
- Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, or J-1 sponsorship
