About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support controls integration of automated driving platforms and applications
  • Develop expertise in vehicle control systems for automated driving platforms and applications
  • Triage and address software integration issues
  • Support vehicle build events, program milestones, and special initiatives
  • Conduct testing and data analysis for automated driving features and performance
  • Verify and update vehicle software to approved configurations for testing, validation, and issue resolution
  • Support development of virtualization tools to reduce integration dependencies on vehicle hardware
  • Work with the Advanced ADAS Initiatives team on software and hardware integration for new ADAS projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related Bachelor of Science degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Controls Development, Vehicle Integration, or Validation
  • Experience with embedded software programming languages, including Python, C, and C++
  • Ability to communicate well cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and solve complex problems
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle regularly
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree
  • Preferred: Experience with Autonomous Vehicle Control, Active Safety, or Electrification
  • Preferred: Experience with VCU/Android app development
  • Preferred: Experience with Fluent Bit and back office infrastructure
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the Global Vehicle Development Process
  • Preferred: Proficiency with agile software development processes
