About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead cross-functional teams to define and document test scenarios
- Propose process enhancements using integration expertise
- Verify controller functionality on benches or vehicles using advanced testing methods and tools
- Troubleshoot, identify and root-cause issues in system features, controller hardware, software and calibrations
- Work with technical specialists to resolve system interaction issues and develop techniques to predict and prevent integration issues
- Create action plans for elusive software issues and present status updates to leadership
- Develop experimental software and perform integration testing independently
- Provide technical solutions and resolve software defects identified through testing
- Create and maintain test matrices covering infrastructure-level, CG-based and application-level test cases
- Develop automated test procedures for benches and vehicles
- Execute verification and validation testing to meet program milestones
- Provide testing status to leadership and program teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Computer Science, Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience in software integration, CI/CD and/or DevOps with experience in tooling, infrastructure solutions and automated testing
- Experience in software development/testing, instrumentation and benches (e.g. dSPACE)
- Proficiency with Python and/or C
- Ability to independently investigate issues based on limited information and resolve complex problems
- Ability to complete multiple tasks with competing priorities
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively
- Preferred: MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Software, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- Preferred: 8+ years of professional experience in software integration, CI/CD
- Experience working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience with Automotive Communication Protocols (Ethernet/CAN/LIN)
