About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through test plans, test cases, and automated testing
  • Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and address software defects
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Execute manual and automated test cases
  • Identify, record, track, and resolve software defects with developers
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Implement and execute automated regression testing
  • Document and communicate test results and status reports
  • Maintain test case, test script, and testing process documentation
  • Set up and configure test environments to mirror production environments, including benches and vehicles
  • Keep test environments updated with the latest software versions and configurations, including VCU
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study
  • 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Systems Engineer, Validation Engineer, or related role
  • Two years of experience with test planning, test case development, execution, automation, and documentation
  • Experience with automation test frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, Unittest, Appium, Cucumber, and Katalon Studio
  • Experience with automotive infotainment system operation
  • Experience with embedded automotive modules
  • Experience with speech recognition systems
  • Experience with software coding, scripting languages, and databases including Python
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel
  • Must be able to report to local office
