About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Interact with the Systems Architect, Development Team Leaders, business team members, and development team members
  • Lead design and coding to implement and deliver enhancements
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise for multi-layered solution architectures covering business, application, data, and infrastructure designs
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints
  • Confer with analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and determine project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces
  • Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models
  • Develop or direct software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation
  • Evaluate reporting, cost, security, and hardware configuration requirements
  • Supervise and assign work to programmers, designers, technologists, technicians, and other engineering or scientific personnel
  • Work under a hybrid policy of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related role
  • Five (5) years of experience delivering Java and JEE Business Solutions
  • Five (5) years of experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Five (5) years of experience with SQL and Oracle
  • Five (5) years of OO analysis and design experience
  • Five (5) years of experience with Agile Development Techniques including TDD, JUnit, Mocks, and Pair Programming
  • Five (5) years of experience with Hibernate, Web Services including REST and SOAP, and WebLogic
  • Five (5) years of experience with Microservices, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spark, Kubernetes, Akka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Redis, Bitbucket, and Maven
  • Three (3) years of experience with web technologies including HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript, and Adobe CQ
  • Must be able to report to the local office
