Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment and planning in accordance with clinical protocols and best practice
Undertake treatment, simulation and planning responsibilities across the department
Work collaboratively as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
Ensure radiation therapy processes and procedures are completed safely, accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and administration in a professional and timely manner
Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement of clinical services

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification
Current registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
Demonstrated technical competence across radiation therapy treatment, simulation and planning
Knowledge of contemporary radiation therapy modalities and techniques
Interest in continuing to develop professionally across all areas of the department, including planning and the Elekta Unity MR Linac
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Patient-focused approach and genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care
Certain roles may require evidence of vaccination against, or non-susceptibility to, specified vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs)
