About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and Route 53
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform
Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate software delivery
Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance, cost, and security
Implement cloud networking, including VPC configuration, subnets, and security groups
Manage AWS database, container orchestration, storage, and DNS services
Set up VPN networks and manage remote IoT devices
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery practices
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in real time
Stay current with AWS best practices and emerging cloud technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience, preferably with high-transactional and distributed systems
Proven experience managing AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, and Route 53
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and orchestration
Solid understanding of AWS networking principles, including DNS, VPCs, subnets, and security groups
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline
Strong proficiency in Linux system administration
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Bash and Python scripting
Fluency writing SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and filtering across complex relational and non-relational datasets
Effectiveness communicating and working in a remote and distributed team
AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, preferred
Experience with additional IaC tools such as Ansible or CloudFormation, preferred
Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus, preferred
Experience managing remote IoT devices, preferred
