About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform MRP, documentation, and physical production-release tasks for products
- Track and update products
- Communicate directly with all departments except R&D
- Release new products into production and create items, bills of materials, manufacturing routings, procedures, and binders
- Modify assembly procedures
- Update bills of materials and manufacturing routings in the MRP system
- Help resolve day-to-day issues related to production, receiving, procurement, and sales
- Lead and coordinate the exchange of information between departments
- Make changes to information and records
- Estimate assembly times during the quoting process
- Participate in customer meetings to understand requirements
- Participate in improvement projects related to production and administrative processes
- Perform other related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- College diploma (DEC/AEC) in industrial or electronics engineering technology, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or equivalent experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in production, production support, or engineering
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Thoroughness, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Versatility, proactivity, and autonomy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
- Intermediate English
