About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to different contexts, audiences, products, and priorities
- Support research and discovery activities, including collecting user feedback, conducting desk research, and benchmarking similar interfaces
- Assist with persona and user journey mapping
- Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes with support from senior team members
- Develop responsive layouts and screens, applying hierarchy, contrast, spacing, and typography in accordance with the brand’s visual identity
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Design System, reusable components, and style guide
- Use AI tools ethically and responsibly to support research, ideation, prototyping, and productivity, always critically reviewing outputs and following data security and confidentiality guidelines
- Support usability testing and document the results
- Apply accessibility guidelines (WCAG) to interface design whenever possible
- Document flows, components, and specifications, and complete handoff to the development team
- Collaborate with developers, QA, the Product Owner, and the Product Manager in alignment meetings, brainstorming sessions, and implementation reviews
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of product usability and user experience based on feedback and usage metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Design, UX, Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Understanding of wireframes, prototypes, and visual design principles (hierarchy, contrast, typography, and spacing)
- Knowledge and use of AI tools applied to design, with critical judgment and a strong sense of responsibility regarding ethics, privacy, and data protection
- Organized and flexible, with the ability to work on multiple projects in different contexts and switch between tasks independently
- Interest in UX, UI, product design, and user experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
- Interest in or experience with public-sector products (GovTech) and geospatial solutions (maps, GIS, and territorial data), or related areas
- Basic knowledge of user research and usability testing
- Basic knowledge of Design Systems
- Hands-on experience using AI in the design workflow
- Portfolio featuring academic, personal, or freelance projects
- Interest in UX trends, digital design, and artificial intelligence
