About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work autonomously across multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to different contexts, audiences, products, and priorities
- Conduct research and discovery, including feedback collection and analysis, desk research, benchmarking, and market studies
- Support the definition of personas, user journeys, and user flows, identifying essential features and opportunities for improvement
- Participate in defining and documenting design requirements with the Product Owner, Product Manager, and stakeholders
- Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, presenting and defending proposed solutions
- Develop responsive layouts and screens in accordance with the brand’s visual identity
- Support the development and maintenance of the Design System
- Support and conduct usability testing, analyzing results and implementing adjustments
- Ensure interface accessibility in accordance with WCAG guidelines whenever possible
- Use AI tools ethically and responsibly for research, ideation, prototyping, and productivity, critically reviewing outputs and respecting data security and confidentiality
- Conduct design handoffs and follow up on implementation with developers and QA, validating fidelity to the design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or degree in Design, UX, Technology, or a related field (completed or in the final stages)
- Demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer on digital projects (web and/or mobile)
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Experience creating and maintaining Design Systems and documenting components
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing, and defining personas and user journeys
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and WCAG guidelines
- Knowledge and use of AI tools applied to design, with critical judgment and a strong sense of responsibility regarding ethics, privacy, and data protection
- Experience working across multiple projects and different contexts, with strong organization, autonomy, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with product and development teams
- Portfolio demonstrating the design process and outcomes
- Nice to have: experience with public-sector products (GovTech), georeferenced solutions (maps, GIS and geospatial data), complex products, AI in the design workflow, agile methodologies (Scrum), product metrics, HTML/CSS or front-end development, mentoring junior designers, and an interest in trends in UX, digital design, and artificial intelligence
