About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship product improvements that solve customer problems
Work across backend and frontend systems
Work directly with customers and the go-to-market team to understand needs and unblock progress
Design and iterate on solutions with designers, engineers, stakeholders, and customers
Improve product systems through refactoring, reducing operational toil, automation, and workflow simplification
Own reliability through instrumentation, observability, and meaningful alerting
Improve infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and automation for safe, frequent releases
Help shape the technical direction of the product, platform, and engineering team
Explore how AI agents are changing software development, operations, and risk
Participate in a shared on-call and in-hours support rota, respond to incidents, and improve systems afterward
Build tooling for enterprise AI-agent visibility, governance, and risk

Requirements

What you’ll need

Fluent in at least one of Java, Python, TypeScript, or Rust, or a similar language
Ability to become productive quickly in an unfamiliar codebase
Experience delivering significant production software in greenfield and existing systems
Experience participating in on-call support, debugging under pressure, and improving systems afterward
Understanding of secure software development and common vulnerabilities
Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and containers
Understanding of observability, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerts
Comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving environment with evolving products, processes, and tooling
Experience using AI agents for pairing, automation, or workflow orchestration
Ability to sustainably work East Coast US hours
