About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, implement, and monitor security measures to protect GETEC Group’s information, network, and IT systems
Analyze security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities, and derive measures to minimize risk
Design, enhance, and implement cybersecurity strategies and security architectures
Define technical and organizational security requirements
Advise internal stakeholders on the selection and implementation of suitable security solutions
Operate, administer, and optimize security tools and security infrastructures
Identify security events, anomalies, and potential attacks using monitoring and analysis tools
Conduct vulnerability scans, evaluate and prioritize findings, and support the implementation of remediation measures
Support audits, risk analyses, and regulatory and Group-wide compliance requirements, particularly NIS2 and information security
Prepare reports, security assessments, and recommendations for action for specialist departments and management
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Support security projects and continuously develop the security organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or Security Operations
Sound knowledge of vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and security engineering
Experience with common security solutions and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Nessus, or comparable systems
Good knowledge of relevant security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and NIS2
Experience analyzing, assessing, and documenting security risks, as well as implementing technical protective measures
Certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, or comparable qualifications are an advantage
Knowledge of ServiceNow or comparable ITSM solutions is an advantage
Analytical mindset, structured approach to work, and strong problem-solving skills
Very good command of German and English
Excellent communication skills
