About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Full-stack development of the PR platform intended to serve as the operating system for the PR agency of 2027
- Development of an agent system to redefine the PR value chain end to end
- Building AI agents for the day-to-day work of PR consultants
- Implementing self-learning loops and multi-agent orchestration
- Helping shape the system architecture, including workflows, data models, interfaces, compliance, and the tech stack
- Further developing the database architecture using relational and vector databases
- Sharing technical responsibility for the foundation with the second developer
- Working directly with management and establishing technical standards
- Integrating AI into getpress’s processes and strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 3 years of experience in software development
- More than 1 year of experience developing AI agents and AI components such as memory, context engineering, retrieval, and orchestration
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or LangGraph
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Git, LangGraph, and GitHub
- Experience developing backend systems with frameworks such as FastAPI, Spring Boot, or NestJS
- Experience with common programming languages such as Java, TypeScript, or Python
- Experience with container-based and cloud-native architectures, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS
- Based in Germany
- German language skills at least at B2 level; C1 is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL, API design, schema design, and query optimization is a plus
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems, along with an understanding of model behavior, performance, and limitations, is a plus
- Experience in product engineering and evaluating requirements from business and user perspectives is a plus
- Experience with event-driven architecture, e.g. Kafka or RabbitMQ, is a plus
- Experience with agentic development, e.g. Claude Code or Codex, is a plus
