About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strategically and operationally manage clients from a range of industries, usually as part of a two- or three-person team
- Advise C-level clients, heads of communications, and in-house PR managers as a strategic sparring partner
- Develop creative, editorially sound PR stories
- Pitch PR stories individually to journalists
- Use the internal AI stack for research, pitch preparation, and topic scouting
- Work with clear KPIs and engage in daily media outreach
- Maintain close client relationships to support client success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists at key media outlets in the DACH region and across Europe
- Conduct targeted phone pitching to relevant journalists across a broad range of media
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of hands-on PR experience at an agency or in-house
- Proven placements in leading German media outlets
- Experience strategically and operationally managing your own clients
- Understanding of different media and the ability to turn complex topics into precise, journalistically compelling stories
- Well-maintained network of journalist contacts
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Experience with LLMs or AI workflows
- German at C2 level
- Professional communication skills in English
- Based in Germany
