About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain master and policy data in our system
- Support claims handling and process frequent, recurring claims
- Assist with subrogation processing
- Set up new customers and policies
- Handle manual collections, follow-up collections, and correcting entries in close coordination with the Accounting team
- Prepare coverage notes and cancellation notes, change notifications, insurance certificates, loss payee clauses, and confirmations of insurance
- File documents in our electronic document management system
- Request turnover declarations and review customers’ declarations
- Review profit and loss statements
- Provide administrative support to relieve the Underwriting and Claims teams
- Participate in projects, such as portfolio migrations and process optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial training, for example in insurance, freight forwarding, banking, industry, or wholesale, or demonstrable experience matching the requirements of the role
- Professional experience in a commercial environment is desirable; entry-level candidates with a relevant training background are very welcome
- Structured, careful working style with a strong commitment to quality
- Technical aptitude and enthusiasm for IT systems and digital processes
- Interest in claims handling and subrogation processing
- Knowledge of policy setup and collections is desirable
- Knowledge of digital records management
