About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, partnerships, and various agreements
- Drafting and reviewing instruments related to routine corporate matters
- Drafting and reviewing memoranda of understanding, powers of attorney, confidentiality agreements, leases, and other commercial contracts
- Drafting notices and counter-notices
- Providing legal support in contract meetings and negotiations
- Providing general legal advice in contractual and corporate law matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- At least 2 years of experience as an attorney
- Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Contract Law, Corporate Law, or a related field
- Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
- Experience drafting corporate instruments
- Intermediate English proficiency for drafting contractual and corporate documents and participating in meetings
- Experience with corporate transactions, M&A transactions, or legal audits (due diligence) is a plus
