About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner within the Strategy Team to execute required tasks and activities, deputizing when required
- Execute tactics such as advisory boards, publications, and training
- Provide vision and direction for the assigned disease area
- Drive development and execution of cross-functional product and disease strategy
- Partner with Global Medical Affairs teams including RWE, Scientific Communication, and Publications to provide input, direction, and review of materials
- Capture internal and external insights on the assigned therapy area and translate them into actionable activities
- Provide guidance for development and execution of disease strategy, medical Plans of Action, and cross-functional projects
- Participate in exchange with the medical community and maintain a thought leader network
- Collaborate compliantly with Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing, Market Access, and PVE
- Represent Global Medical Affairs to experts, medical professional groups, societies, regulatory groups, and at national and international scientific meetings
- Report to the Head of Global Medical Lymphoma/Leukemia Strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS and 10 years relevant experience, MA/MS and 8 years relevant experience, or PhD and 2 years relevant experience
- M.D., Pharm. D, PhD or qualification in Life Sciences, Immunology, or Oncology preferred
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with expertise in cell therapy and Lymphoma/Leukemia
- Proven track record within Medical Affairs
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment
- Proven ability to work across a cross-functional matrix
- Self-starter with “can do” attitude
- Basic knowledge of budget and account management
- Able to travel to domestic and international conferences (travel 35%)
