About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Manufacturing Global Process Owner for ERP-enabled production-planning processes and data
- Establish target-state process architecture, governance, and the Manufacturing business roadmap
- Define and standardize global Manufacturing processes across Clinical and Commercial Manufacturing sites and applicable CMOs
- Translate priorities into business requirements for the integrated ERP transformation roadmap
- Define performance metrics and decision frameworks for sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Lead end-to-end process mapping and optimization from development through commercial production and customer shipment
- Lead cross-functional process governance across IT, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory
- Approve process standards, business requirements, controls, data definitions, and business decisions
- Own business readiness and adoption for process changes, including stakeholder alignment, role and procedure impacts, training requirements, adoption measures, and sustainment
- Manage CAPEX, OPEX, and headcount/resource budgets for deployment and sustainment of Global Manufacturing systems and assets
- Lead and develop the matrixed Global Manufacturing ERP process-owner network
- Serve as Manufacturing data owner and ensure inspection readiness of process governance and evidence
- Partner with system owners, Quality, IT, and the ERP Transformation Lead for audit and Health Authority interactions involving SAP
- Set business priorities and outcome requirements for SAP S/4HANA, RISE, AI-enabled capabilities, and related global systems
- Demonstrate values-driven, inclusive leadership and clear accountability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant professional experience, or Master's degree or Ph.D. with 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Degree in a relevant scientific or business discipline is strongly preferred
- Proven experience leading large-scale SAP implementations in a manufacturing or life sciences environment
- Ability to translate GMP manufacturing needs into technical user requirements specifications for Information Technology teams
- Extensive ERP experience as a user and business process owner
- Familiarity with typical transactions and master data configuration
- Deep understanding of cGMP clinical and commercial manufacturing operations, planning, supply chain, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent business acumen and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead complex, global transformation initiatives, influence stakeholders without authority, manage ambiguity, and drive adoption through communication and change leadership
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to constructively challenge the status quo
- Experience leading global process standardization initiatives and serving as a business and data owner across complex, interconnected digital ecosystems
- Strong influencing skills with experience as a direct or matrixed people leader
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, draw out diverse views, and manage challenging conversations with tact and empathy
- Ability to lead organizational change initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption strategies
- Black Belt or higher certification in Lean / OE / Six Sigma is preferred
- Supply Chain APICS / ASCM certification is preferred
- Experience designing and building a global capabilities center or similar shared-services workforce is preferred
