Lead the digital strategy, implementation roadmap, and cross-functional coordination for Global Supply Chain
Oversee implementation of emerging technologies, including AI
Champion data-driven, digitally empowered ways of working
Refine the Global Supply Chain Digital Enablement roadmap aligned with organizational priorities and enterprise platforms
Translate supply chain digital needs into business cases for enterprise investments
Lead business case development and ROI analysis for digital investments
Articulate a vision for digital transformation within Global Supply Chain
Leverage data science AI models to transform ways of working and accelerate supply chain
Drive data-centric solutions to enable product supply to patients
Identify emerging digital tools for supply planning, production planning, logistics, and distribution
Lead change management, upskilling, communication planning, and user adoption
Design, digitize, and automate processes with GSC and PDM operational excellence
Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with technology providers
Drive digital pilots and implementations with stakeholders
Foster relationships with internal partners and external vendors
Represent Global Supply Chain in PDM Digital and Data Program committees and working groups
Align efforts with data governance, structured data initiatives, and broader PDM digital programs
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data scientists
Create a collaborative and inclusive work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

PhD OR MS with 10+ years of relevant professional experience, OR BS with 12+ years of relevant professional experience
Proven experience integrating data and digital tools
Comprehensive understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry, R&D, product commercialization, and regulatory framework
Experience designing, selecting, and implementing planning tools, SAP, reporting and analytics, and AI
Understanding of structured content, automation, and enterprise knowledge systems
Demonstrated enterprise mindset aligning Global Supply Chain needs to enterprise platforms and solutions
Proven success leading digital initiatives from strategy through implementation
Understanding of advanced analytics, data architecture, and data engineering
Strong AI fluency, including deploying everyday AI tools and custom AI and digital solutions in a technical environment
Knowledge of data governance principles, systems integrations, and metadata management is a plus
Ability to collaborate with scientists, engineers, IT, manufacturing, and others
Track record of building and managing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
Training or certification in data science, informatics, and digital transformation preferred
