About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test suites covering hardware, mechanics, embedded systems, frontend, backend, and sensor technologies
Lead and execute QA processes and continuously improve testing methodologies, standards, and procedures
Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test results, test coverage reports, and release notes
Collaborate with Product Development teams to ensure consistent project execution and product quality
Translate product requirements into comprehensive test scenarios and coverage
Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve testing issues with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience as a QA or Test Engineer working with multidisciplinary products in cloud-based software environments
Hands-on experience with both manual and automated, script-based testing for products that combine hardware and software
Proven experience delivering and executing high-quality hardware and software testing solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with IoT and cloud-based solutions (advantage)
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit (advantage)
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner (advantage)
Understanding of retail industry standards and regulations (advantage)
