About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and deploy advanced AI systems focused on reasoning and scalable inference
- Work on large-scale machine learning systems
- Develop distributed training pipelines
- Contribute to next-generation architectures for reasoning models
- Collaborate closely with research and engineering teams
- Potentially lead a feature squad or project team
- Contribute as a senior individual contributor where appropriate
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least three years of experience in NLP or machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch
- Experience building or deploying machine learning systems in production
- Familiarity with LLMs and transformer architectures
- Experience with distributed training or inference systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment combining research and production engineering
- Nice to have: CUDA programming and GPU kernel optimisation experience
- Nice to have: experience leading technical projects or engineering teams
- Nice to have: PhD in mathematics, physics, computer science, or another quantitative scientific discipline
- Nice to have: experience at a leading technology company, such as a FAANG company or equivalent
- Nice to have: medal in a prestigious mathematics, informatics, or science Olympiad
- Nice to have: five or more years of experience developing NLP or machine learning applications
