About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own recurring processes, monitor system health, resolve issues and serve as a resource for People Operations, People Business Partners and Talent Acquisition
- Administer system security, assign and maintain security roles, and run system and security audits
- Configure, test and deploy day-to-day enhancements, quarterly and annual changes, People programs, upgrades and releases
- Review new features, run regression tests and help stakeholders prepare for changes
- Write and run test cases and document configurations, business processes, reporting and integration schedules
- Load mass datasets and distribute policies and documents with thorough testing
- Prepare and maintain SOX ITGC audit evidence and internal controls documentation
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards; analyze cycle times and process data and recommend configuration changes
- Train and enable team members on their tools; research best practices and use AI to automate tasks and speed analysis
- Support cross-team projects and implementations, owning workstreams and delivering results on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on HR technology experience, including exposure to Workday configuration, testing or system support
- Exposure to public company operating procedures, such as SOX ITGC controls, audit evidence and change management
- Experience investigating issues, analyzing process data and finding the “why” behind a problem
- Experience using AI tools in daily work to automate tasks, speed up analysis and improve processes
- Experience validating system changes and documenting findings clearly
- Close attention to detail and sound discretion with highly confidential information
- Independence and an ownership mindset
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach
- Helpful but not required: experience with Serval, Greenhouse, Slack or Google Workspace; building reports and dashboards; supporting implementations, upgrades or releases, including regression testing; or working in a fast-paced, all-remote or async-first tech environment
