About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation for GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams across Italy on account strategies for acquisition and expansion
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide digital transformation
- Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Maintain expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies and create reusable technical collateral
- Pursue ongoing learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding them through solution design and evaluation
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies
- Ability to lead proofs of concept or proofs of value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and run workshops or value stream assessments
- Clear technical communication and presentation skills
- Skill in building trusted relationships and acting as a customer advocate
- Motivation to continuously develop professionally and learn new technologies
- Fluency in Arabic
