About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Unload, sort, and stage products.
Sort, stage, and prepare orders for shipment using an RF scanning system.
Manually pull specialized non-RF-scanner products as needed.
Sort and place stock products on racks, shelves, or bins according to assigned locations.
Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 50–80 lbs and occasionally team-lift or team-move objects weighing 80–150 lbs.
Complete and maintain daily and weekly warehouse equipment maintenance.
Communicate shipping, delivery, packaging, and tagging issues to Customer Care, the Warehouse Manager, and/or General Manager.
Respond promptly to internal and external customer requests.
Complete work accurately and on time with strong attention to detail.
Assist with inventory cycle counts.
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and organize work areas.
Safely operate warehouse PIT, including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow company safety policies and procedures, report incidents, and participate in training sessions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate with customers, sales personnel and internal staff.
Excellent time management skills.
Previous forklift experience preferred.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Basic RF scanner knowledge preferred.
Ability to pass PIT certifications provided by Global.
Dependable and reliable.
Ability to work in extreme hot and/or cold weather conditions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
