About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Unload, sort, and stage inbound trucks and containers manually and with power industrial trucks (PIT)
Pull products manually or with PIT
Sort, stage, and prepare orders for shipment using an RF scanning system
Manually pull specialized non-RF scanner products as needed
Sort and place stock products on racks, shelves, or bins according to assigned locations
Assemble products for showrooms, samples, and trade shows
Complete daily and weekly maintenance of warehouse equipment
Communicate shipping, delivery, packaging, and tagging issues to Customer Care, Warehouse Manager, or General Manager
Respond to internal and external customer requests
Assist with inventory cycle counts
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse and work area
Safely operate warehouse PIT, including forklifts, reach trucks, stock pickers, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
Wear required PPE and adhere to safety policies and procedures
Report incidents and participate in training sessions
Train Warehouse Representatives on essential duties and responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
3 to 5 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate with customers, sales personnel and internal staff
Excellent time management skills
Forklift experience required
Basic computer knowledge preferred
Intermediate RF scanner knowledge required
Ability to pass PIT certifications provided by Global
Dependable and reliable
Ability to work in extreme hot and/or cold weather conditions
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 50–80 pounds and occasionally lift/move objects weighing 80–150 pounds
Ability to stand and walk regularly; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
Ability to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outdoors, and in extreme heat
