About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the international Site Management team
- Take responsibility for workforce planning and coordinate multiple construction sites and locations worldwide
- Support Sales with calculations, tenders, and technical bid reviews
- Manage and coordinate international staff assignments, including employment law, administrative, and tax-related matters
- Further develop expertise and standards in the areas of revitalization, Small Hydro XL, and HSE
- Ensure efficient resource planning and continuously optimize processes and workflows
- Support project teams in the successful delivery of large-scale projects in terms of quality, safety, schedule, and cost
- Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Sales, and other international project stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical training or education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- At least 10 years of construction site experience as a Supervisor, Site Manager, or in a comparable role
- Several years of leadership experience in an international project or construction site environment
- Experience coordinating multiple locations and teams
- Extensive experience with large-scale projects, ideally in the hydropower sector
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on solutions and results
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel internationally
