About the role

  • Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Current residence in the United States required
  • Willingness to complete a Tier 1 background investigation, including fingerprinting
  • Native or highly proficient Korean and English language skills
  • Two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent formatting skills
  • Ability to produce client-ready work
  • Reliable, deadline-oriented, and highly productive
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach
  • Access to up-to-date Windows software
  • Ability to work with standard document formats
  • Able to provide per-word rates for translation and editing
  • Willingness to accept assignments on an as-needed basis
  • Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, language studies, or an equivalent qualification is preferred
