About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct proactive perimeter checks to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Maintain a highly visible security presence
- Monitor and control access to client properties
- Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity
- Enforce site protocols and security procedures
- Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents
- Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports
- Spend approximately 60–70% of each shift outdoors standing post, conducting perimeter checks, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents
- Support client locations across New York State
- Placement based on operational needs and business requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid New York State Unarmed Security License
- Ability to work assignments in New York State
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training
- Experienced Unarmed Security Agents
- Licensed Unarmed Security professional
