About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform or monitor setup, maintenance, balancing, transaction transmission, and support for Global's Terminal Automation Applications
- Monitor, perform, and document processes and system internal audits
- Communicate with IT peers, IT management, Operations staff, and Operations management
- Learn and train users on new information technologies for terminal automation systems
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks
- Provide technical knowledge to co-workers for problem solving
- Deliver training for new users and updated terminal automation systems
- Understand and disseminate training plans throughout the company; function as a training resource
- Use and test backup procedures, including the disaster recovery plan
- Modify existing Terminal Automation Systems and implement changes across all terminals
- Integrate new terminal data into existing systems and work with the Operational Support Team on large integrations or changes
- Act as a resource for projects related to terminal automation and billing systems
- Support field users by resolving terminal system issues or redirecting them to appropriate resources or vendors
- Act as liaison between Global and support vendors
- Provide on-call support as needed
- Support other areas and special projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years Windows administration experience
- 5+ years of related experience, including terminal, engineering or other fuel related applications
- Experience with Terminal Automation Systems, including DTN Guardian 3 and Toptech TMS 5 and 6
- Experience with database management systems, including Oracle 12 and 19, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and Linux
- Experience with client server technologies and browser-based applications is helpful
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related discipline preferred
