About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and implementation of a robust QA automation framework for SAP CRM and SAP TC.
Build automation solutions from scratch while further developing and improving existing solutions.
Work closely with Telia’s business and IT leaders to promote QA automation best practices.
Collaborate with existing QA and AQA teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
Educate team members on modern QA concepts, methodologies, and automation practices.
Introduce and leverage AI technologies to improve QA processes, automation, and overall testing efficiency.
Perform manual testing when required to ensure comprehensive test coverage and product quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Lead QA Automation Engineer.
Strong experience with Playwright — mandatory.
Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience designing and developing automation frameworks and a strong understanding of QA automation best practices.
Experience in SAP QA Automation — mandatory.
An AI-native approach to software engineering and SDLC, with an interest in applying AI to modern QA practices.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make a significant impact within a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; Lithuanian is a plus.
Previous manual testing experience is an advantage.
