About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage audio/video equipment for conference rooms, training rooms, and digital signage
  • Create and maintain conference room and training room experiences using room automation technologies such as Crestron
  • Deploy and maintain digital signage infrastructure
  • Provide technical and operational support and customer service
  • Report project, problem, and issue status to the department ITS Facilities AVP
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Manage projects and provide technical direction
  • Provide design support and consultation for departmental and enterprise projects
  • Manage operational support for corporate, branch, and service center operations
  • Monitor system capacity and reliability and plan future expansions and upgrades
  • Procure hardware and software
  • Conduct audit compliance assessments and initiate corrective actions
  • Resolve incident management tickets
  • Perform and delegate system administration functions
  • Evaluate and install patches and system updates
  • Perform critical system changes after business hours
  • Adhere to and author policy, procedure, and standards documents
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, peer organizations, and business contacts
  • Research new technology, trends, legislation, and developments
  • Develop goals, objectives, and unit work plans aligned with IT strategic planning
  • Direct AV system enhancements and evaluate third-party vendors and technologies
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7 years of Audio and Video management preferred
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate Degree
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience required
  • Master’s Degree
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of local and wide area networking concepts, principles and protocols
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure design and management
  • Working knowledge of personnel administration, planning and budgeting
  • Strong working knowledge of Intel platforms, iSeries and pSeries servers
  • Advanced understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and processes
  • Experience with UML Design Tools
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, IP subnetting, routing and switching protocols, HTTP, SSH, SSL, and DNS
  • Knowledge of technology infrastructure, security concepts, platforms, IT security processes and controls
  • Demonstrated project management success
  • Advanced knowledge of IBM pSeries hardware, operating systems and TSM backup infrastructure
  • Knowledge of security associated with each OSI layer
  • Knowledge of security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities
  • Experience with SSH, serial connections, and TMSH command-line interface
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors on upgrades and acquisitions
  • Experience with Visio and Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001
  • Advanced experience with network and VLAN segmentation
  • AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot
  • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection
  • Flexible schedule, including possible long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Limited travel may be required
