About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assess current business processes to identify automation and agentic AI opportunities
  • Facilitate process discovery and process mapping activities
  • Evaluate operational pain points and inefficiencies
  • Recommend automation, AI, process improvement, or data-driven solutions
  • Build business cases and value assessments for transformation initiatives
  • Partner with business teams to prioritize opportunities and define future-state processes
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and teams across the company to improve business operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of automation assessment, lifecycle methodologies and documentation best practices
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification preferred
  • Automation certification in Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or UiPath preferred
  • Knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies and procedures a plus
  • Experience with various automation and productivity tools
  • Skilled in the use of low code technology and the development of automation solutions
  • Active listener and strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Proactive in building relationships with business partners
  • Organized and willing to do administrative tasks
  • Ability to use research, data, and judgment when solving problems or making recommendations
  • Ability to demonstrate integrity in managing work demands and pressures
  • Ability to continually pursue personal development
  • Self-starter able to operate efficiently within given parameters and deadlines
  • Growth mindset and ability to learn and adapt
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience as a business analyst or similar role required
  • Proven track record of solving difficult problems in an enterprise environment required
  • 1 year working on automation or other technology initiatives as a business analyst or other applicable role preferred
  • Experience working with both business and IT to deliver business value preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must not require visa sponsorship
