About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete financial analysis for floorplan acquisitions, loan proposals, and renewals/modifications of existing credit lines
  • Analyze automotive dealerships’ and affiliates’ financial statements
  • Perform fixed charge coverage ratio analysis and bank reconciliation
  • Assign accurate risk ratings and provide recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Accurately report findings while ensuring corporate compliance and risk management
  • Interface with customers and internal/external stakeholders to obtain data
  • Communicate with dealership personnel and stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate and concise proposals/modifications for credit committee approval
  • Provide appropriate recommendations and supporting documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced knowledge of credit underwriting
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow and dealer workout
  • Knowledge of dealership, fleet/commercial and indirect auto finance industry operations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of reporting and analytics
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Understanding of commercial lending with emphasis in captive automotive dealership financing
  • Understanding of dealer operations
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to make sound business decisions based on policies and procedures
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Customer service skills
  • Detailed oriented and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

  • 3–5 years of directly related experience in financial analysis and automotive dealership commercial lending environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Must not require visa sponsorship
