Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • Previous internships considered a plus
  • Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • Must commit to working 40 hours for 11 consecutive weeks during the summer (May 26, 2027–August 6, 2027)
  • Must participate in all GM Financial-sponsored events for interns
  • Must adapt to a hybrid work model
  • Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a business-related field
  • No immigration-related sponsorship is provided; applicants requiring H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, or other immigration support are not eligible
