About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support internal and external communication initiatives
- Create engaging content for social media, company intranet articles, emails, video scripts, and employee communication platforms
- Conduct research and interview stakeholders
- Develop messaging that supports organizational goals and employee engagement
- Interview, research, and craft original content for Viva Engage, emails, video scripts, social media, external articles, and intranet articles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong written and verbal communication skills required; ability to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale
- Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Writing, PR, or a related degree from an accredited college or university
- At least one semester remaining upon start of the internship
- Junior or Senior classification preferred
