About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Autonomously review and analyze data generated through the floorplan audit function within Commercial Lending Operations
  • Monitor policies and procedures related to inventory auditing
  • Review and evaluate floorplan inventory audit results and related data
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify and communicate high-risk situations
  • Recommend audit frequency based on policy and apparent risk
  • Participate in on-site audits when risk requires involvement
  • Report on audit-related data and trends
  • Interface with dealer personnel to clear audit exceptions
  • Support inventory floorplan aspects of problem account handling, including SOT, bankruptcy, and liquidation accounts
  • Support the workout group in managing liquidations
  • Participate in on-site due diligence and dealership monitoring as needed
  • Evaluate and report on audit vendor scheduling and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams involved in portfolio monitoring, commercial account management, workouts, and status accounts
  • Meet departmental risk management goals and objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Understanding of automotive dealership operations
  • Understanding of commercial lending, with emphasis in captive automotive dealership financing
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis and dealer workouts
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Persuasive communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
  • Directly related automotive experience in Commercial Lending preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
