Contribute as an engineering leader and individual contributor to software delivery and business value
Work with system architects to influence and support intentional architecture
Develop software delivering business value, including new features
Build scaffolding to help teams deliver faster
Improve test automation and testability
Partner with team members to increase software skills, system understanding, and design thinking
Embed in or engage across teams to accomplish business objectives
Collaborate with shared services, other organizational towers, and external vendors
Research and champion new tools and approaches
Apply cloud technologies and help team members accelerate implementation
Champion Agile and DevOps to improve product quality, time to market, and team member happiness
Invest in automated testing and pipelines for frequent deployments
Maintain a production-first focus on scale, uptime, and rapid issue resolution
Promote modern software development patterns emphasizing simplicity, reuse, and security
Maintain a technical backlog with product management and solutions architecture
Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems and guide maintenance and support
Teach, mentor, and reinforce modern software development practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Software development expertise in one or more high level programming languages with developed language agility to move easily from one product to another
Expertise optimizing data architecture, database queries, and indexes
Proficiency designing, building, and optimizing automated pipelines with automated testing and automated security controls
Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with demonstrated success leading improvements
Ability to implement features across mobile, web, and API service levels
Ability to lead by example and inspire passion and enthusiasm within the team
Ability to execute strategies across teams that deliver measurable business value
Mastery of software languages, architecture, and design
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
Skills evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
Experience integrating AI into workflows
Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection
7–10 years of software development experience required
2–4 years of experience leading multi-developer projects required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field, and/or commensurate experience preferred
