About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure timely execution of title workflows so titles are received and delivered to auctions within state service-level time frames
- Complete complex remarketing title processes and resolve title issues
- Update account status across company systems
- Document follow-ups and update systems of record
- Partner with vendors, dealers, and cross-functional business units to resolve title delays
- Collaborate with sales and transport teams
- Research and resolve aging, exception, and escalated accounts
- Complete and submit auction title paperwork accurately and timely under applicable regulations, auction guidelines, and company policies
- Assist leadership with departmental strategies and goals
- Make cost-effective decisions when shipping documents
- Audit assigned auctions daily
- Respond to the asset titles email inbox within service levels
- Troubleshoot system defects and define alternate working solutions
- Enter title fees into the GM Financial system of record
- Support projects and initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of lien processes and/or auto finance experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with state and federal guidelines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a team setting
- Detail oriented
- Proficient time management ability
- Independent decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in the Remarketing Solutions System, Excel, Word, Outlook, and AutoIMS
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment with little assistance
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to make financial decisions regarding title dispositions and residual value loss
- Ability to analyze and prioritize work responsibilities
- Ability to research complex issues across multiple systems and interpret quantitative and qualitative reports
- Track record of reliability, dependability, and ownership
- Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
- Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
- Experience integrating AI into workflows
- Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
- Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Note: 0–2 years in a title processing or lien perfection role is preferred, not required
- Must not require visa sponsorship
