About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Grady Health System’s virtual imaging careers hiring event
- Pursue imaging opportunities as an X-Ray, CT, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care
- Connect with the Radiology team and explore current opportunities
- Participate in a virtual interview if background aligns with current opportunities
- Maintain professional credentials, continuing education credits, and annual license renewal
- Eligible X-Ray Technologists may participate in the CT Pathways Program after six months of employment to gain CT experience and advance their careers
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- X-ray Technologists: Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required
- X-ray Technologists: Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); registry-eligible candidates must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire
- CT Technologists: Associate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- CT Technologists: Registered with the ARRT as a Registered Technologist
- CT Technologists: Must obtain ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire, if applicable
- Must remain in good standing with the ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) by maintaining required continuing education credits and completing annual license renewal
- CT applicants may qualify through an approved ARRT institution with an accredited CT program, recent graduation and ARRT-CT eligibility, or experienced Registered Technologist ARRT-CT eligibility
- Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
